Album 15 - Brazil: On the road towards Bolivia

The road is long to join Pantanal where we must pass the Bolivian border. Geoffroy thus benefits from it to learn Spanish in 90 lessons.

When it is said to you that it is long... it is as far as the eye can see.

Some are not deprived besides to make it still longer.... while imposing strong stops to us sympathetic nerves.

In Pantanal, a house on pile where the mother tries to make dry her detergent by 90% of moisture.

Bubulle in all its splendour. Let us profit, there are still bridges..

Installation obliged in front of this bridge out of wooden and to lay down it sun. After the photograph I had the soaked feet, I would have to say to him to move back itself....

Idem...

Light of laying down sun on Rio of Pantanal

Another morning postcard of the greatest marshy area of the world (240.000Km² distributed in Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia). In Brazil Pantanal extends on 140.000Km², it is more than four times Belgium!

Moreover all is large there, even the pigs of the Indies. They is largest rodents of the ground. They are often trotted with a bird on the back, which we would have liked to have against the million mosquitos.

With force to look at the alligators we embourbés ourselves. This 4x4 came to draw us from there with the smile and the applause from the Brazilian tourists whom it transported when we had left business.

Quickly, a small photograph, but if the road is not hurried really will become bad!

If you knew that this puddle pool is only one joke compared with what awaits you, you would not do malignant you...

In this favela of Pantanal, water is "stolen" on a drain of the city. One keeps it in tanks in Eternit. The water of consumption, as for it, is preserved in special cans.

"Er! You are on for the water of consumption?? Would be necessary can be to say it to your daughter!"
The Brazilian ones have so much the joy in life that even this small remark with fact laughter.

A few hours before the midnight supper, we met a family of British navigators which saw on "Robin Hood" a 70 year old yacht having belonged to Eva Perón. We are in Corumba on Paraná.
