After having crossed Argentina
right through in its Northern part, coming
from Paraguay, we reach the majestic chain
of the Andes which mark the border with
Chile.
|

Salar (water and salt
extent) after having passed a collar of
4170 m !
|

Zig and
zag. It is good, we hold the shock.

Nothing
with saying, it époustouflant of
beauty and of "is never seen with
tele".

It feels
brags it especially... when one allows
oneself to pose in tongue with the altitude
of the Mount Blanc almost

Border with
Chile (4250m of altitude). Behind us it
is still Argentina. The customs officers
who accomodated us suffered all from a
terrible tooth ache... It was equivocal!
In fact of tooth ache, they chewed all
of the sheets of Coke...

Never mind,
it is altitude...

On the road
of the peaks (4400m) with 130 km/h, it
can be able to be suddenly taken of a
desire... for thinking!

of a desire for posing without their tongues.

Border), which we found in San Pedro de

of Chile, we fell by chance on the procession
of a school from Samba preparing the Carnival.

on the way towards Bolivia, a "green"
valley wedged in a desert environment.
The North of Chile suffers from problem
of lack of water worrying.

Cacti with 2800m of altitude!
These specimens push 5cm per annum...
One can find them until 3400m altitude.

We
will not be able to say, that it was not
with 4500m of altitude. Chungara is the
Lake highest of the world far in front
of the White Lake in France (Chamonix,
Massif of the Red Needles)

We leave Chile to enter
again to Bolivia, but this time by the
tops. While moving back the car for the
photograph, I inopportunely rolled on
the leg of Loïc...
